Creamy Ham & Wild Rice Soup

INGREDIENTS

• 2 c cooked diced ham
• 1 c carrot shreds
• 3/4 c wild rice
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 can chicken broth
• 1 can cream of celery soup
• 1/4 tsp pepper
• 3 c water
• 1 c half-and-half
• 1/4 c sliced almonds
• 2 Tbsp sherry
• 1/4 c chopped fresh parsley

PREPARATION

1. Spray round crock with cooking spray
2. Mix all ingredients except half-and-half, almonds, sherry, and parsley
3. Cover, cook on LOW 7-8 hours
4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
5. Cover, cook on HIGH 15 minutes.
