Crockpot Lasagna
INGREDIENTS
1 lb bulk Italian sausage
1 onion, chopped
3 15-oz cans Italian-style tomato sauce
2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
2 c shredded Mozzarella
1 15-oz container ricotta
1 c grated Parmesan
15 oven-ready lasagna noodles
PREPARATION
Cook sausage and onion in mondo skillet over medium 6-8 minutes until sausage is no longer pink.
Drain; stir in tomato sauce, basil, and salt.
Mix 1 cup of the mozzarella with the ricotta and Parmesan.
Spoon 1/4 of the sausage mixture into large crockpot. Top with 5 noodles, broken to fit.
Spread with half the cheese mixture, and 1/4 of the sausage mixture.
Top with 5 noodles, remaining cheese mixture, and 1/4 of the sausage mixture.
Top with remaining noodles and remaining sausage mixture.
Cover. Cook on low 4-6 hours.
Sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top. Cover and let stand 10 minutes.
