---++ Drunken Irish Stew ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 1.25 lbs stew meat, cut into small pieces * 1 Tbsp soy sauce * 2 Tbsp flour * 1 Tbsp EVOO * 2 Tbsp tomato paste * 1/4 c red wine * 2 bottles Guinness * 4 cloves Real Garlic, chopped * 2 tsps Better than Boullion * 3 carrots, peeled and chopped * 2 large potatoes, peeled and chopped * 1 large onion, chopped * 2 bay leaves * black pepper * 1 c frozen peas ---+++ PREPARATION 1. Put meat in bowl and toss with soy sauce. 1. Add flour and toss to coat. 1. Heat EVOO in skillet on medium 1. Add floured meat; cook, stirring frequently, till browned. 1. In crock, stir together tomato paste, Guinness, garlic, and boullion until well mixed. 1. Add meat, carrots, potato, onion, bay leaves, and lots of fresh-ground pepper. 1.Cover and cook on LOW 8 hours. 1. Stir in the peas, heat 15 minutes or until hot.
