Maple Sausage Pie

INGREDIENTS

  • 1.5 lbs oz bulk pork sausage or maple sausage
  • 1 bunch scallions, sliced, whites and greens separated
  • 2 c baking mix
  • 2 c milk
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 c shredded mozzarella
  • 2 Tbsp maple syrup

PREPARATION

  1. Heat oven to 400
  2. Spray 13" x 9" pan with cooking spray
  3. In mondo skillet, cook sausage and scallion whites until sausage is no longer pink.
  4. Drain; spread in pan.
  5. In medium bowl, stir baking mix, milk, eggs and salt until blended.
  6. Stir in cheese.
  7. Pour into pie plate.
  8. Bake 35-40 minutes, until knife in center comes out clean..
  9. Let stand 5 minutes. Top with scallion greens and drizzle with maple syrup.
