Mark and Barb's Beer Brats
INGREDIENTS
- 10 bratwurst
- 3 onions, cut in half and sliced thickly
- 3 bottles beer, or enough to cover everything
- buns for serving
PREPARATION
- Place the onions and brats in large skillet.
- Pour beer over until the onions and brats are covered.
- Heat over medium-high to a simmer. Reduce heat and simmer until 170.
- Remove brats.
- Cook onions until beer is almost cooked off.
- Add brats back, heat on medium until hot.
- Serve on buns with mustard.
