Picadillo
Ingredients

chopped onions |

green bell pepper, cut in squares |

chopped garlic |

olive oil to coat pan |
2 lbs |
lean ground beef |
|
sliced green olives |
2 T |
capers |
1/4 c |
golden raisins |
2 T |
sherry |
16 oz |
tomato sauce |
Preparation
Cook onions, garlic and green pepper in olive oil. Add ground beef, breaking up. When browned, add olives, capers raisins sherry and tomato sauce. May add salt here.
Simmer 20-30 minutes and serve with black beans.
