*Ingredients*
| 2 | chopped onions |
| 1 | green bell pepper, cut in squares |
| | chopped garlic |
| | olive oil to coat pan |
| 2 lbs | lean ground beef |
| | sliced green olives |
| 2 T | capers |
| 1/4 c | golden raisins | 
| 2 T | sherry |
| 16 oz | tomato sauce |

*Preparation*

Cook onions, garlic and green pepper in olive oil.   Add ground beef, breaking up.  When browned, add olives, capers raisins sherry and tomato sauce.  May add salt here.

Simmer 20-30 minutes and serve with black beans.
