Pomegranate Hazelnut Holiday Salad

INGREDIENTS

Salad

• 2 bags mixed greens
• 12 sliced bacon, diced, cooked and drained
• 3/4 c chopped hazelnuts, toasted
• Arils from one pomogranate

Dressing

• 3 Tbsp warm bacon grease
• 2 Tbsp maple syrup
• 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
• salt and pepper to taste

PREPARATION

1. Toss salad ingredients in large bowl.
2. Place dressing ingredients in blender bottle and shake well.
3. Pour dressing over salad, toss and serve.
