Ingredients
2 sticks butter or margarine |
2 onions, chopped |
about a pound of ham or turkey ham cubed |
aobut 1.5 cups flour, 3 heaping half-cups or one heaping cup |
5 cans diced potatoes, drained |
3 packets jamon |
4 cups (1 lb) cheese, shredded |
4 cups milk |
4 cups water |
Cook the ham and onions in the margarine until the onions are wilted. Add the flour, it will sort of form a ball, stir it and break it up for about a minute.
Add the water and the milk and the jamon, heat until hot and add the potatoes. When it's boiling, add the cheese a handful at a time until it's as thick as you need it and orange enough.
