---++ Smokin' Strata ---+++ INGREDIENTS * 2 Tbsp unsalted butter * 8 oz sliced mushrooms * 2 leeks, thinly sliced, white and light green parts, only * 1 10-oz loaf focaccia bread, cut into 1/2" cubes * 4 oz smoked Gouda, grated (1 c) * 1.5 c whole milk * 1.5 c half-and-half * 9 eggs * 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard * 1/2 tsp salt * 1/4 tsp pepper ---+++ PREPARATION 1. Heat oven to 400 1. Spray 13" x 9" dish with cooking spray 1. In skillet, melt butter over medium-high, saute mushrooms and leeks until soft, about 8 minutes. 1. Spread half the bread cubes in the pan. 1. Top with 3/4 of the cheese and 3/4 of the leek mixture. 1. Top with remaining bread cubes, then cheese, then leek mixture. 1. In a large mixing bowl whisk together milk, half-and-half, eggs, mustard, salt, and pepper. 1. Pour over layers. 1.
