Teriyaki Noodle Soup

INGREDIENTS (makes 3)

  • 3 tsp beef base
  • 3 Tbsp teriyaki sauce
  • 2 Tbsp ginger
  • 2 cloves minced garlic
  • 9 oz cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1.5 c cooked Ramen noodles
  • shaved or shredded carrots
  • chopped cabbage or bok choy

PREPARATION

To make

  1. Divide beef base, teriyaki sauce, ginger and garlic between 3 microwavable pint containers
  2. Layer with chicken, noodles, carrots and cabbage in that order.
  3. Place lids on jars and refrigerate.

To cook

  1. Let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes, or run under warm water to warm.
  2. Add about 1.25 c water (nearly full)
  3. Microwave, uncovered, 2 minutes.
  4. Let stand 5 minutes
  5. Stir to combine
