Turkey Breast

Ingredients

  • 4-6 lb turkey breast (bone in or out)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped coarsely
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 c white wine

Preparation

Use green or black crock. Season turkey liberally with salt & pepper and put into the crock. Add onion, putting it all around and under. Add pieces of butter and then pour the wine over top. Cook on low 7-9 hours. Should read 165 on meat thermometer. Let sit covered with foil for 20 minutes before carving.
