---++ Slow Cooker Peasant Sauce
---+++ INGREDIENTS
   * 3 cans (14.5oz) Italian diced tomatoes
   * 2 handfuls of carrot shreds
   * 2 ribs celery, chopped
   * 1 6-oz can tomato paste
   * 1 Tbsp sugar
   * 2 tsp Italian seasoning, mortared
   * 1 bay leaf
   * 1 Tbsp jarlic
   * 1 tsp salt
   * 1/4 tsp pepper
   * cooked meat of choice
---+++ PREPARATION
   1. In the locking crock, combine everything but meat
   1. Cook on LOW for 8 hours or HIGH for 4.
   1. Remove bay leaf. Apply stick blender.
   1. Add meat.  Cook on LOW 2 hours or HIGH 1 hour
